I chair the second Virtual Symposium on Heart Failure. We are anticipating the involvement of approximately 15,000 physicians from around the world involving maybe 110 countries. This Heart Failure Symposium as I said is the second one, the first one was two years ago in April of 2006 and there’s been so much progress in the diagnosis, early diagnosis and management of heart failure that we felt it was necessary to put on a second symposium.

In this particular program that will last throughout the month of April 2008 we will involve a world renamed faculty and we’ll have a series of PowerPoint lectures together with case presentations and discussions of strategies of treatment as well as round table panels. This will allow physicians from around the world to view and learn from this virtual symposium at their own convenience, at their own time, and the program will be available on line, through the web, this web base program throughout the month of April.

We are pleased to put this on in conjunction with the International Society for Holter and Electrocardiology, so called ISHNE symposium, and this is one of a series of programs, educational programs that have taken place during the past several years.

I look forward to having your participation and as one of the sixty or so faculty members it is our pleasure to put this educational program on.
